STUCK FOR OVER A WEEK ON THIS AND OTHER PROBLEMS TRYING TO GET HERELINK UPDATED
After receiving my herelink, i did the following:
UPDATE GROUND UNIT: COMPLETE
- Ensured that the IP address Im using was not within the blocked range.
- Ensured the time and region was set properly.
- Ensured the google driver was installed on my PC.
- Was able to download the latest firmware and the ground unit boots
with Solex and QGC installed as apps.
LOAD FIRMWARE ON AIR UNIT: COMPLETE
- Ensured that the IP address Im using was not within the blocked range.
- Ensured the time and region was set properly.
- Ensured the google driver was installed on my PC.
- Loaded the flasher program on my PC. Flashing appeared to proceed properly.
PAIR THE GROUND UNIT: COMPLETE
- Went into the CXXXXX and proceeded to pair the ground unit to the air unit.
- Pairing result was successful.
UPDATE THE AIR UNIT OTA: STUCK!!!
- Using the equivalent PC, power, and wifi links from the previous steps, I
went into the SYSTEM UPDATES SCREEN to do an OTA update of the Air Unit. I was asked for the
serial number of the unit which I had prevously provided, and when I typed it in the unit provided
an error telling me: “The server is not reachable, please check your connection”.
The wifi connection on both my PC and on my Herelink were still functional, unchanged,
and within the acceptable IP* addressing provided by cubepilot. This wifi link worked for
the previous steps with no such error. I AM STUCK. PLEASE HELP!!! I honestly dont know
what else I can try at this point. Any help would be appreciated.
