Unhealty GPS

Hello,
Seen this on several topic already but never seem to see an actual solution.

I have Cube Orange + (version 4.5.7)
Here4 GPS - also update to the latest (HW version 4.19 / SW version 1.14.5AC6523C ).

I seem to have all configured right, I get 32 sats and 0.5 hdop with 3dfix.
I keen on getting either gps1 unhealthy (arming denied) or “unhealthy gps”.


Steps taken to eliminate the issue:

Reinstalled Arducopter
Recalibrated compass /accl /etc…
Replaced Cobe Orange.

Any support will be appreciated.

When selling top tier product (at least at from a price perspective)…any support is kind of expected. (FYI reseller also waiting for any kind of response )

Can you provide a .bin log with LOG_DISARMED,1 set please
I suspect it’s actual GNSS conditions, but there might be some config we can do to make life easier for the Here4

Try setting these if not already:

BRD_BOOT_DELAY,3000
GPS_AUTO_CONFIG,2
GPS1_GNSS_MODE,5

and let us know how that goes.

as an FYI - I have other setup (not exact, but same cube o+ and here4) that work flawless in the same location.
I recall have tried both GPS_AUTO_CONFIG and GNSS_MODE - but i will try again and will send the log over.

Number of Sats and HDOP is OK, but the update rate is poor.

This should be a straight line across at 200ms (5Hz)

There’s also a bunch of config errors is the messages, like these:

You should try the update process in the manual at section 3 to see if it helps with the config errors.

Possibly related to the errors too, but mostly the poor positioning and “unhealthy” status is your location - it’s lucky that you get a position at all. Check the GPS Jam map:

Update Rate - What is the cause for that issue ? (we have lowered the constellations to only GPS/Galileo)

Erros - Gps is updated as seen in my first message in the thread.

Interferance - Yes, some times there are interferences, yet two other copters (with the same HW) are working flawless. - I believe in science not in luck.

Is there any other debugging could be done to understand why these 2 brand new unites are not performing as should ?
