HERELINK - Compatible camera list

NextVision cameras with TRIP2 accessory are compatible with Stock/Out of the box settings.

Has anyone tried to use FLIR Vue Pro with Herelink?

I have one working with one of these:

firefly Q6 is not working with Herelink.

it works well with HDMI Monitor. but not with Herelink.

Depends on the age of the Q6 - newer ones do, oder ones don’t.
The old ones give an 1024i signal, while the newer ones give a1024p.
HDMI “i” does not work.

Has anyone found an analog to HDMI converter smaller than the one that @louisianahelicam found?

You can remove the case and unsolder the large contacts. I did not dare to cut the board to make it even smaller, but in principle it should be possible.

Hello,

Here an integration that might interest You, it is based on the Analog to HDMI converted that is showned above

Converter Barebone Board + 5V 3A UBEC + RunCam Board held with nylon post and hot glue and foam

Added 2 nylon posts in the back so the Air Unit can “sit on it” and connected unit using HDMI-MicroHDMI adaptor that is generally connect the Raspberry PI 4 HDMI to TFT monitor

Oh… yes I use a 40mm fan for cooling

Nice work. I’ll be constructing something very similar with the analog to digital converter and an FPV camera. Combining the power supply was a nice touch.

Did you find that the electronics overheated quickly without the 40mm fan?

Cheers,
Christian

Thanks, I was surprised by the quality and ease of connection as it is the default resolution of the Herelink system.

The fan is a strong recommendation as the temperaure of ir Unit is getting high pretty fast on the bench.

Runcam Hybrid Split working with AV to DV converter.

Seems the converter I have is a slightly different model PCB than what I’ve seen others share. The grounding was obvious, but I had to poke around a bit to find a +Vcc to power the FPV camera. There was a solder bridge needed for an LED (lower left corner) which works well enough for my test.

Photo 1: bare PCB with receptacles removed

I was not able to get the video to work in Solex TX, however, it came up immediately in QGC to confirm that transmission was working. I am powering the Herelink air unit and FPV cam with a small 5V USB battery pack.

Photo 2: video transmitted via Herelink air unit

These are just temporary connections until I finalize my build. I’ll supply power to the board and FPV cam downstream of the Herelink air unit and not through the converter PCB.

Does Solex TX require an FC to be connected in order for video to come through? This is a new build/unit so I have not connected an FC yet.

Cheers,
Christian

Were you able to get your Flir Vue Pro with the HDMI module working with your HereLink? If so, how? Thank you!

Yes.

Which camera on the list, saves the location information (georeference, camera from 20 Mpx)?

None, except if you use an additional module

Hi Abdallan.
If you are taking stills, you can use the Airpixel Entire remote camera trigger with the Sony Alpha series cameras and be able to save both GPS location data (numerical precision equivalent to 1mm) and camera gimbal angles if using a Gremsy gimbal.

See photogrammetry.airpixel.cz

As kananaskisKyle said, Entire is good solution for geotagging, newly is Entire fully implemented to the Herelink UI. Geotagging control and also exposure control via HereLink screen tools.
Here are details and videos:

Where are the video ? i can’t see any video on this product page

All the images of the Herelink has playable screens. Just click to play. Main image should play video automatically. That page is full of videos, so maybe you need to wait a moment for loading.
Let me know if you will not able to play them, valuable feedback

Ok, so this is what i see (with safari) :
